What I do
I am co-founder and Creative Director of OutThere publishing. A multi-faceted role which takes me around the world creating content for OutThere, Homoculture and OutThere/Style magazines. In addition to overseeing all visual aspects of each title I am also a photographer, art director, graphic designer and I write a bit too.
After a 4 year stint at British Esquire I joined the team at Show Media, where as Senior art director I oversaw the Art Direction on a number of high-profile projects. These included Candy Magazine (For Candy&Candy), The Quarterly (For The Week), Heathrow Traveller (for BAA) and art direction for commercial clients in the fashion industry from Savile Row tailors (Ede & Ravenscroft and Huntsman) through to international fashion brands such as LK Bennett.
In addition to being Creative Director of OutThere Publishing I also work on a consultation basis for the internationally acclaimed events design company Block9, where I have created branding for their NYC Downlow (at Glastonbury Festival) and the visual identity and site design for the Demon Dayz festival (for the Gorillaz).
After years of art direction I am now seriously pursuing my own photography with an emphasis on travel, portrait and menswear editorials. I am directing my first factual short film and spend as much time as possible mentoring young and upcoming creatives.
When my busy schedule allows I take on a limited number of freelance projects and consultations. For more information on what my expertise can do for you, or to just say hello, feel free to get in touch.
