Martin is the founder and Creative Director of OutThere publishing. A multifaceted role which takes him around the world creating content for OutThere, Homoculture and OutThere/Style magazines. In addition he oversees all visual aspects of each title.
After a 4 year stint at British Esquire Martin joined the team at Show Media, where as Senior art director he oversaw the Art Direction on a number of high-profile projects including Candy Magazine (For Candy&Candy), The Quarterly (For The Week), Heathrow Traveller (for BAA) and art directed for commercial clients in the fashion industry from Savile Row tailors (Ede & Ravenscroft and Huntsman) through to international fashion brands such as LK Bennett.
In addition to being Creative Director of OutThere Publishing Martin also works on a consultation basis for the internationally acclaimed events design company Block9, where he has created branding for their NYC Downlow (at Glastonbury Festival) and the visual identity and site design for the Demon Dayz festival (for the Gorillaz).
After years of art direction Martin is now seriously pursuing his own photography with an emphasis on travel, portrait and menswear editorials. He is directing his first short film and spends as much time as possible mentoring young and upcoming creatives.
